BuildRed · an adult must be involved

Five teenagers lean in around a single laptop at a harbourside table at dusk, sketches and tablets spread across it, every one of them looking at the same screen. Nobody is presenting to anybody; they are all building.

Hill's Original Idea

The Master Mind

Work with people who challenge, support, and complement you - not just people who agree.

The Story

At 1:17 a.m., Sam is fixing a broken headline on his gaming-news site while answering Discord messages and exporting a thumbnail.

Your 24-Hour Build

Your 24-Hour Build

Red · an adult must be involved

Invite one or two people to a 20-minute build call. Bring one goal and ask: "What could we create together in 30 days?" End with one task per person.

This build is meant to take 20 minutes. The timer on this page needs JavaScript — any clock does the same job.

20:00

Marking a build done is kept in this browser, never sent anywhere. Print or copy your receipt to keep it for good.

The book sets this build at 20 minutes (page 36). The flag applies the family approval system printed on book page 61; it is not a mark the book prints beside each build. Race Control explains it.

If there is nobody to ask right now

Green · this version needs no adult

Run the 20 minutes on your own. Bring the one goal, answer the question yourself — what could exist in 30 days — and end with one task for you. Write down who you would invite. The call happens once an adult knows about it and the platform is one they have approved.

This is not a way around the gate. It is a smaller build that does not need one, so that having nobody to ask today does not end the ninety days. The full version is still there when the person is.

Reality Check

Reality Check

Red · an adult must be involved

Online collaboration needs boundaries. Do not share your address, school schedule, private documents, passwords, or financial details. Use parent-approved platforms and involve an adult before meeting anyone in person.
