A teenager sketches a wiring diagram beside a basil seedling wired to a moisture sensor, a laptop open and trays of components across the desk. The hunch has been turned into a small, cheap test.

Hill's Original Idea

The Sixth Sense

Notice quiet pattern recognition, but verify high-stakes decisions with facts and trusted people.

The Story

At 3:07 a.m., Kai opens his Notes app and types: One sensor. One garden bed. Stop wasting water.

Your 24-Hour Build

Your 24-Hour Build

Yellow · check in with an adult first

Write down one idea or decision that keeps returning. Design a test under one hour or ten euros/pounds/dollars. For anything higher-risk, replace the test with a conversation with a trusted adult.

This build is meant to take 20 minutes. The timer on this page needs JavaScript — any clock does the same job.

20:00

Marking a build done is kept in this browser, never sent anywhere. Print or copy your receipt to keep it for good.

The book sets no length for this build, so the timer uses a 20-minute first step. The flag applies the family approval system printed on book page 61; it is not a mark the book prints beside each build. Race Control explains it.

If there is nobody to ask right now

Green · this version needs no adult

Design the version of the test that costs nothing and involves nobody new: ask a question, make a rough version, count something for a week. If the only test you can think of needs money or a stranger, the book already told you what to do instead — make it a conversation.

This is not a way around the gate. It is a smaller build that does not need one, so that having nobody to ask today does not end the ninety days. The full version is still there when the person is.

Reality Check

Reality Check

Anxiety can feel like intuition because both can be physical. Anxiety often repeats broad danger signals; intuition is usually quieter and specific. When feelings are intense or persistent, slow down and seek support.
