Why this happens

Planning tools are built to make work feel fast, and the tasks that involve an adult are the slow ones. It is easy to write a twelve-week plan in which every single step is something you can do alone, and then discover that the step which actually earns anything is not.

Customer data is the one people miss. A spreadsheet of names, addresses and orders is other people's personal information, and holding it is a responsibility whatever age you are.

What to do instead

Write the twelve-week outcome and the first three milestones, then mark every milestone that crosses into money, personal data, shipping or a contract.

Attach an adult to those marked milestones before they start, not when they go wrong.

Who to talk to

A parent or guardian, before the first paid step rather than after it.

For tax, registration or invoicing, a qualified local professional — the rules are country-specific and guessing is expensive.
